General Details

The building work on the villas is virtually completed so we will be taking bookings now. It will be available from March 2008.

We offer two modern, three bedroomed semi-detached villas for rent by the week or for longer periods. We (my brother and I) have 2 villas side by side, with commanding views of mountains and sea. Ideal for a break to enjoy sunshine and relax whilst on holiday. We have named them Bona Langa (‘see the sun’ (Shona)) and Limoeira. Each villa is presently being built by Clearview Homes and will be finished in weeks to a very high specification.

Madeira offers everything anyone could ever wish for in a holiday: a warm welcome, a perfect climate, comfortable accommodation, breathtaking scenery and great entertainment. Both the lovers of daytime outings and those who prefer nightlife will be spoilt for choice. Since it is virtually crime free, it is one of the safest holiday destinations in the world.

Madeira is a group of islands belonging to Portugal, 360 miles off the West coast of Africa and consisting of two, inhabited islands, named Madeira and Porto Santo and two groups of rocks, inhabited only by goats and rabbits, named Desertas and Selvagens. Its 5000 square miles have rugged mountain peaks in the centre rising to a height of over 6000 feet which then plunge down to deep, terraced ravines. There are bold precipices in close proximity to the sea, and these scenes of striking grandeur are a source of endless delight to the hill walker.

The hills and valleys are cris-crossed by miles of water courses, taking water from the hills to the cultivated lands and these are the levada walks, one of Madeira’s chief attractions. Besides this there is surfing, swimming in natural rock pools, para-gliding, golf and much more for the active tourist. There is also a wide variety of museums, parks and gardens and international shows for those with different inclinations. The island, often spoken of as “The Pearl of the Atlantic” is the perfect holiday destination.
